Scottsdale ¾ TGC 5- or 6-axis CNC micro precision tool grinder will be exhibited at the upcoming IMTS 2004 show in Chicago September 8-15, 2004. The machine is manufactured in Switzerland and is being introduced to the market by TTB Engineering a group of former Stream people. The design concept of the model TGC 5 with its unique grinding wheel turret arrangement allows for up to 15 grinding wheels. TGC 5 is capable of grinding tool diameter range from 0.0008” to 0.551”. Menu driven software from Numroto and NTI covers the entire cutting tool spectrum from drills, milling cutters to profile tools, cylindrical or tapered with square, corner or full ball nose ends. The machine is small in footprint and easy to maintain. TGC is available with either a GE Fanuc or a NUM control. TGC can be configured with Auto loading.
